Social Conditions necessary for Patronage.

We must now know that Patronage comes from the wealthy lot of the society and is generally bestowed upon those who show promising growth in their future in their respective fields.

Many people who are expert in their own fields are given monetary support to excel in their art or work.

The question arises whether the society plays a role in this. We would like to put into perspective that one must always consult a group of people before actually going ahead with the donation.

Social Conditions always hamper the growth of art and also in Patronage. Many people, generally those wealthy enough, are very passionate about fine arts or are very deep into religion. They are very keen to give financial help to the ones who need it.

Social Conditions such as religious discrimination can cause a hindrance in the Patronage. In a country like India, where thousands of castes and creed are emerged into one society, Patronage generally goes to the one belonging to the same caste as the rich man. Not to say that the receiver was less deserving but the other might have been more successful than the former.

People who are not familiar with a certain art might find it a bit difficult to believe that the Patronage should go the particular person. Many a times has it happened that due to the Social Conditions, Patronage has not been given to the correct person or might have not been given at all.

The Patron is the sole decision maker and has all the right but the influence due to the society being high; even he stoops down and thinks twice before making the move. Truly talented people and in this case even religious institutions need finance. Patronage should be given on the basis of free will and Social Conditions.
